Raye Street House Set on a steeply sloping site on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill, this house is supported by 40 auger-cast concrete pilings, with a deck that cantilevers over the steep hillside below.  Materials are raw and inexpensive—concrete block, fiberglass shingle siding, medium-density fiberboard and cement floors.
